About the Artist

Heritage is not copied, it is rediscovered.

Lina Al-Aali is a Qatari visual artist and a writer specializing in children’s literature. Her work explores identity, memory, and the quiet strength of women, reinterpreting Qatari and Gulf symbols—from palm trees and the sea to doors and ornamental motifs—within contemporary compositions.

With over twenty years of experience in art and education, she is a graphic design expert, visual arts coordinator, and certified trainer. She has also published eleven books for children and young adults.
